The Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training

As part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission (IER) relating to the reparation program, the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, and the Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) signed a partnership and cooperation agreement.

Under this agreement, the Ministry of Employment shall participate in the implementation of the individual and community reparation programs, through facilitating the access of victims and rightful claimants to training, in-service training and services of the National Agency for Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) and the Ministry’s public bodies, to give priority to the regions concerned with the community reparation program in its projects, and to enhance vocational training in these regions.

For its part, the CCDH is committed to conduct studies and make proposals on the rehabilitation of victims, to participate in training programs meant for the personnel of the Ministry of Employment in the field of the human rights approach and to organize events in cooperation with the Ministry for the promotion of the human rights culture.
