Royal Institute for Amazigh Culture (IRCAM)
The Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) and the Royal Institute for Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) signed a cooperation and partnership agreement.
In accordance with this agreement, the IRCAM supports the CCDH in:
- Promoting linguistic and cultural rights, and research in this area;
- Translating and reviewing documents of the amazigh version of the CCDH website;
- Contributing to the development of guides and training programs on human rights in Amazigh language;
- Contributing to cultural activities on the community reparation program and preservation of collective memory;
- Contributing to the promotion and protection of economic, social and cultural rights.
On the other hand, the CCDH supports the IRCAM in:
- Developing and implementing a strategy for cultural and linguistic rights;
- Conducting expertise in human rights, particularly cultural and linguistic rights;
- Training the IRCAM executives in the field of human rights;
- Involving the IRCAM in the development and implementation of the community reparation program and preservation of memory in the regions concerned;
- Including economic, social and cultural rights in the topics covered by the Mohammed VI Human Rights.
